Our Steam Cleaning Process

The right steps can make all the difference when it comes to carpet cleaning.  Our 12 step process is designed to tackle ground-in dirt, stains, soil, and general wear and tear of your carpet.

OUR CLEANING PROCESS

  • Pre-Inspection - Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. He will identify potential permanent stains and give you an evaluation of expected results, as well as listen to any concerns you may have.

  • Pre-Vacuum - Your carpet is pre-vacuumed with a commercial vacuum to remove insoluble dry soil before cleaning.  Removing dry soil is one of the most vitally crucial steps in any cleaning process.

  • Furniture Moving - Our regular pricing includes moving couches, chairs, tables and smaller items.  Beds, dressers, and heavier pieces cost extra to move.  Our technician can quote the exact cost to move any of your heavier pieces.

  • Pre-Spray - A pre-conditioning agent is applied to emulsify and break down traffic area soil and general spots for a more thorough cleaning.  Our cleaning and rinsing agents have been tested and certified to be safe for children, pets, and plants.

  • Pre-Spot - Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal.

  • Pre-Agitate - In extreme situations, a professional carpet groomer or rotary brush is used to further loosen the soil.

  • Soil Extraction and Rinse - Once the soil has been loosened, our state-of-the-art truck-mounted hot water extraction cleaning process will thoroughly flush the carpet pile. Pressure and heat are regulated to prevent the carpet from being over-wet. We exceed the IICRC Standards by taking the extra time to perform a double extraction.

  • Neutralizer - The pH is balanced on every carpet and fabric cleaned. This is one of the most important steps according to the manufacturers of carpet. It is accomplished during the extract & rinse process.

  • Post Spot Treatment - Any spots or stains still remaining will get extra treatment with our many specialty spotting solutions.  NOTE: Permanent stains, as identified by the technician, cannot be removed.

  • Post Groom - Your carpet is groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile of your carpet is standing tall when we leave.  Post grooming helps the carpet pile to dry faster and in the right position.

  • Optional Fabric Protection - Applying fabric protection will help guard your carpet from both dry and liquid soil. To keep your carpet looking as new as possible, we recommend applying fabric protection after each professional cleaning.

  • Speed Dry - High velocity air movers are placed on the carpet immediately after cleaning an area to promote faster drying.

  • Post Cleaning Inspection - Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results to make sure that you are completely thrilled with the job.
